COVID-19 and Home Inspection Service                                                                                                 

UNCAPPED INSPECTIONS AND HOME SERVICES continues to provide Professional Home Inspection Services in most locations as we know there are contractual deadlines that are awaiting. We are monitoring the news closely for information that may affect the inspection and will update you accordingly.

 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have some changes to the normal process for a Home Inspection to ensure the health and safety of our team, clients, home sellers, friends and family. Please review the following information and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Our Team

We are following the Covid-19 safety guidelines and protocols as per OntarioACHI and InterNACHI standards of practices. The standards include, but not limited to, wearing appropriate PPEs, using sanitizers and social distancing measures during inspections.

 

For Buyers and Real Estate Agents

We strongly recommend Buyers and Real Estate Agents not to attend the inspection. We will be incorporating videos in our inspection report / software program as applicable. Furthermore, we would gladly review the report by phone or video call as deemed necessary.

 

If you wish to see the functionality of any item within the home, please let us know ahead as we can attach a video in the report or demonstrate via video call.

 

If you have another contractor scheduled to look at the property, we ask that they are scheduled at a different date or a time. Or else, we would have to postpone the inspection.

 

For Sellers / Occupants

We strongly recommend Sellers / Occupant(s) to not be present during the inspection. Make arrangements for everyone to be out of home during the inspection (including minors, pets etc.). Or else, we would have to postpone the inspection.

 

Please sanitize the bathroom and kitchen fixtures, light switches, toilet handles and doorknobs before the inspection

 

You must notify us immediately for any of  the following prior to your inspection:

  • If anyone in the household feels sick or exhibit any symptoms of a respiratory illness in the last 14 days

  • Have been out of the province in the last 14 days

  • Has had close contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the last 14 days

If so, for our team and our clients safety, we would have to postpone the inspection.

Due to COVID-19, we have made some changes to our Handyman services to ensure the health and safety of our team, clients, friends and family. Please review the following information and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Our Team

For Clients

Please sanitize the fixtures that are in need of repair / service before our arrival.

 

You must notify us immediately for any of  the following prior to our service:

  • If anyone in the household feels sick or exhibit any symptoms of a respiratory illness in the last 14 days

  • Have been out of the province in the last 14 days

  • Has had close contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the last 14 days

If so, for our team and our clients safety, we would have to postpone the service.
